Summary of the contracting process

Watford Health Campus Partnership LLP is currently undertaking a procurement process for the design, build, finance, and operation (DBFO) of a multi-storey car park in Watford, under the title "Watford Riverwell Multi-Storey Car Park DBFO". The project, which falls within the construction industry category, is taking place in the East of England and has a value of approximately £100 million. The tender is in the active planning stage, with submissions due by 15th October 2018. The overarching aim is to enhance the governmental land's utility while supporting local healthcare facilities by also managing car parking services at the nearby hospitals.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses, especially those involved in construction, engineering, and facility management. Companies that specialise in large-scale construction works, architectural services, or those experienced in financing infrastructure projects are particularly well-suited to compete. Given the scope of the project, businesses that can form consortia to fulfil the comprehensive requirements will be at an advantage, as joint ventures may be required to ensure full project delivery in line with the contracting authority expectations.
