Notice Description

This is a collaborative procurement opportunity, which will be undertaken by Cleveland Fire Authority in collaboration with Durham and Darlington Fire & Rescue Service (DDFRS) The objective of the upcoming tender process is to award a five (5) year contract with 2 potential extensions each of 12 months with a potential contract commencement date 2nd September, 2019 The Brigade is intending to host a Supplier Consultation day, the purpose is to provide suppliers with the opportunity to inform the development and ongoing management of a future procurement for the supply of firefighter pension scheme administration and pensioners payroll services. As part of the Consultation Day presentations we anticipate Suppliers will provide a brief introduction of their organisation, their clientele, markets etc, but the main part of their presentation should particularly focus on; * How they would mobilise and stabilise the service pre and post transfer. * Their membership engagement strategy. * Interpretation and implementation of scheme rule changes. * Procedures for maintaining GDPR compliance and management of any data breaches. The information gathered will be used to assist in informing the requirements developed by Cleveland Fire Authority (CFA) and decisions about the strategy, scope, structure and nature of the procurement. A Supplier Consultation day is to be held on Tuesday 6th November, 2018 commencing at 9.30am at 1 hour intervals. Suppliers are required to email their expression of interest in attending this event by noon on 30th October, 2018 to procurement@clevelandfire.gov.uk with their preferred appointment time (however this preferred time cannot be guaranteed). Additional information: Following the Supplier Consultation day it is anticipated that the ITT will be issued on the Brigade's e-tendering portal In-tend, prospective tenderers should ensure they are registered on the Brigade's e-tending portal In-tend using the following link https://in-tendhost.co.uk/Clevelandfire/aspx/Home where the opportunity will be issued.
