This is a Prior Information Notice published by NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGEM) on behalf of Warwickshire North Clinical Commissioning Group (WN CCG). WN CCG wishes to engage with suitably qualified and experienced service providers on the provision of a new Community Dermatology Service. The aim of the market engagement exercise is to help refine the commissioning and procurement approach, inform the development of the service specification and to gauge interest in this opportunity. Background The current dermatology service is provided by University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW) at George Elliott Hospital in Nuneaton. WN CCG is developing an integrated community dermatology service which will provide appropriate place-based care for patients, across a wide range of dermatological conditions, which require access to a dermatological service. The new service will need to: * Provide high quality, innovative patient care that is safe, effective and patient-centred within a community setting * Deliver services as efficiently as possible * Reduce the number of patients receiving non-complex care in an acute setting * Maximise the appropriate provision of diagnosis, treatment and management of skin conditions within the community setting There is also a current community dermatology service, provided by a single consultant. Expressions of Interest As part of this market engagement exercise WN CCG would like to hear from potential service providers to understand their views, any suggestions and proposals. The CCG would like to assess the current market appetite to provide this service and provide an opportunity for prospective providers to provide feedback to the CCG in relation to the content of the draft Service Specification. The deadline to submit your completed Questionnaire is 12 Noon on 7th July 2016.
