Fenland District Council is currently looking for software which will enable a more modernised approach to its Cemeteries and Bereavement Services. The Council is looking at ways to increase back-office efficiencies, provide improved administration of burials and interments, and offer a self-serve option for funeral directors to book burials/interments. Software is to include Mapping of burial sites, and the potential to consider an option of recording and monitoring memorial inspections and the ability to be accessed remotely via android device. Suitably experienced companies interested in this market engagement should email procurement@fenland.gov.uk to request a questionnaire. Deadline for requests and return of questionnaire is 5th April 2024.
