WYCA is seeking to procure a client project manager to: Take on the client's project manager role for the scheme to take forward the early development work of Thorpe Park. The key tasks include (but not limited to) the following: o Commissioning work to develop viable timetabling options by working closely with Network Rail, Rail North, Train Operating Companies (TOCs) and DfT; o Develop a credible proposal so that Thorpe Park can be developed in parallel as part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade. o Establish the technical, economic and financial viability of the scheme. o Commission the technical feasibility and potentially the GRIP stage works. o Determine location / layout of the station in relation to the Thorpe Park development o As part of WYCA team, communicate and work closely with the rail industry, developer, Rail North, local authority and Department for Transport.
