Notice Description

The Service Provider will ensure that our offset fund enables successful community carbon projects within the UK, which would not have gone ahead without our funding. Offsetting carbon emissions helps us meet our environmental policy values as follows:- - Meet Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) targets - Provide structure to CSR activities - Giving back to local communities where business is being done/products are sourced - Enhance developing countries - economic, social & communities - Foster local community relations - Build brand reputation - Deliver PR advantages - Engaging staff and enthusing internal teams - Differentiating ourselves from competitors - Reduce global CO2e emissions - Balance out unavoidable emissions and becoming carbon neutral Successful Service Provider MUST evidence that all projects utilised for this contract meet an existing certified standard e.g. the Gold Standard or Verified Carbon Standard. Last year through PAS 2060 Carbon Neutrality programme we were certified 'carbon neutral' for the first time ever. The PAS 2060 Carbon neutrality programme meets the British Standard Institute (BSI)'s specification on carbon neutrality to give extra assurance and other benefits associated with been recognised as 'Carbon Neutral'.
