This procurement falls under the medical practice and related services category, with the contract set to commence on 1st April 2019 and lasting for a period of 36 months, with an option to extend for an additional 24 months. The tender was published on 2nd November 2018, and the submission deadline for tenders is 4th December 2018. This tender presents a significant opportunity for local primary care providers, especially those experienced in handling opiate substitution therapies and working collaboratively with health services. Companies that are small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will find this tender particularly accessible, given the nature of the services required and the emphasis on a streamlined, collaborative delivery model involving partnership with the North Somerset Substance Misuse Service. Engaging in this procurement could enhance business growth and establish a long-term service relationship within the community, given the ongoing nature of the care scheme.
