Notice Description

High Speed Two Ltd ("HS2") has a requirement for the delivery of a series of 'Professional Services - System Engineering Support Tasks' to support HS2 System Engineering team. Tenders are invited from organisations listed on the Rail Industry Supplier Qualification System ("RISQS") Product Code: 07.12.01. The successful Tenderer will ensure timely development of HS2's key system engineering products, specifically: Table 1 - Key Contract Milestones Contract Milestones Completion Date Milestone 1 - Production of Functional Architecture v5 29 January 2016 Milestone 2 - Production of Phase 1 System Architecture Diagram v3 26 Feb 2016 Final Approval and Sign-Off of First Tranche deliverables 31 March 2016 Milestone 3 - Production of Phase 2 System Architecture Diagram v1 & Physical Architecture Diagrams v1 24 June 2016 Milestone 4 - Production of Future defined products (as defined by Customer instructions to be confirmed in April 2016) 30 September 2016 Final Approval and Sign-Off of Second Tranche deliverables 28 October 2016 The above products are required to support the delivery of key HS2 programme milestones including release of the Programme Requirement Specification (PRS v1). The overarching aim of this commission is to develop and support a 'Professional Services System Engineering Support Programme'. The aim of this Programme is to equip HS2's managers with the knowledge, skills and expertise to develop the necessary system engineering processes and products to enable them to professionally deliver the HS2 project on time, to specification and within budget. Additional information: All potential suppliers must obtain details of the Invitation to Tender (ITT) and submit their tender through the HS2 eSourcing portal. All potential suppliers are required to express an interest by registering on the HS2 eSourcing portal (www.hs2.bravosolution.co.uk). Registering is only required once. Registering: Potential supplier should browse to the HS2 eSourcing portal and complete the following: a) Click the 'click here to register' link. b) Accept the terms and conditions and click 'continue'. c) Enter your business and user details. d) Note the username you use and click 'save' when complete. e) You will then receive an e-mail with your unique password. Access to the ITT: a) Login to the HS2 eSourcing portal with your unique username and password. b) Click on the 'ITTs open to all suppliers' link. c) Click on the relevant titled ITT item. d) Click the 'express interest' button in the 'actions' box on the left hand side of the page (this will move the ITT pack into the applicants 'my ITT' box). This is a secure area for projects only. e) Click on the ITT code. The applicant can now access any attachments by clicking the 'settings and buyer attachments' in the actions box. f) Download the documents relating to the ITT. Click 'attachments' on the left hand side. The number in brackets refers to number of documents that need to be downloaded. Click on the bold and underlined filename. Select 'save' and store on your PC. Responding to the ITT: a) Instructions on completing the ITT through the eSourcing Portal are contained in the ITT documents.
