The procurement was executed through a selective method known as a restricted procedure, with the tender period concluding on 18 September 2015. The contract, amounting to £19,500, commenced on 1 October 2015 and is set to expire on 31 March 2016. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within this sector may find themselves well-suited to compete, as the procurement encourages participation from a diverse range of suppliers while emphasising the importance of accurately identifying vulnerabilities and proposing effective remedial solutions. Companies capable of delivering comprehensive IT health checks across varying devices and systems will have a competitive advantage in this procurement process.
