Summary of the contracting process

The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process for a Clinical Chemistry Analyser. This initiative falls under the laboratory reagents and chemistry analyser categories, with specific needs including CE-marked compatibility and the capability to process at least 100 samples per hour. The engagement end date for interested parties is set for 25th June 2018, and the delivery location for the analyser will be in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, England.

This opportunity presents significant potential for businesses in the healthcare equipment supply sector, particularly those specialising in laboratory instruments and reagents. Companies that manufacture or distribute clinical chemistry analysers, as well as those with experience in providing laboratory services, would be well-positioned to compete for this contract. Moreover, firms that can demonstrate the ability to adhere to strict quality control standards and provide CE-marked products are particularly encouraged to engage with the MHRA during the tender process.
