Notice Title

Soft Market Test for: Provision of an IT database platform for capturing & reporting on procurement pipeline

Notice Description

The desired detailed requirements are as follows: * User-friendly data input platform * Ability to handle multiple concurrent users; users able to update without being impacted by changes made by other users * Reminders when milestones / updates are pending / overdue * Ability to view / filter based upon user preferences across all categorisations within the database, on a concurrent basis i.e., filters in place for one user cannot be amended by a concurrent user * Input requirements that support / require consistency: easily updateable drop-down menus wherever possible * At a glance view of activity and milestones - similar to a Gant chart for example - that can be filtered / adapted for different categorisations * Ability to extract reports and management information, broken down by various categorisations, for example team, officer, value etc. * Ability to automate regular reports * Ability to extract bespoke reports * Ability to auto-calculate based on information given, to save on duplication e.g., 'Milestone 2' date should be the same as 'Procurement Strategy Signed Off Date' * Ability to auto-calculate based on information given e.g., if 'CT08 Consultancy' selected, 'Category Manager' auto-populates to 'Joe Bloggs' * Customisable options. For example, one team able to add columns relevant to their area, but not viewable by all * Fully secure, locked down to specified users * Interoperability, links with other systems (for example Outlook, Excel, our finance system Integra), including ability to extract data to Excel via a download button * Ability to share with other parties (mainly SCC internal customers) - either locked down version, or ideally a restricted 'client view' they are able to access when needed * Ability to link files and manage approvals
