Notice Title

GB-London: Contactless Donation Solution

Notice Description

The V&A is inviting tenders for the provision of a contactless donation solution, inlcuding a number of physical donation points and a supplier that can support and maintain the solution (including any software that is required for the solution to function). At its core, the solution must facilitate contactless donations to the Museum in the same way that a cash donation box works at present. The Contactless Donation solution must: *Support the museum financially by encouraging generous, charitable donations from museum visitors *Reflect the values of the V&A through engaging, elegant design that evokes wonder and delight from the visitors *Integrate new technology and card payment processing regulations seamlessly to increase donation size and fit with the expanding digital initiatives of the Museum *Be semi-permanent with minimal fixings to the building fabric, to achieve a united, cohesive language with the entrance architecture and prevent damage from regular moving and storage for events. *Be able to withstand consistent, vigorous visitor use and staff access and allow for easy and cost efficient maintenance, replacement, and upgrade of digital elements Variant bids are also acceptable. Please download the documents for full details of the V&A's requirement The initial contract will be for 3 years, with the option to extend up to a further 2 years. The V&A anticipates that we will require six devices/payment points, and reserve the option to buy/lease additional quantities in the future. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. This tender process is being conducted online and paper returns will not be accepted.
