The strategic vision for York's Children and Young Peoples Plan (CYPP) 2016 - 2020 is: 'Children and young people are the heart of our city and everything we do' We also continue to work within the context of three strategic aspirations for all of the children and young people with whom we work: we want them at all times to be: Safe. Resilient. Achieving. The SEND Strategy aligns with the City of York Council Plan and The Children and Young People Plan The City of York Council (CYC) Local Area Team wishes to commission Youth provision for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The council is seeking organisations with drive, ambition, ideas and capability to deliver youth provision for young people 11 - 25 years.
