Notice Description

The NDA Group uses cementitious powders during the encapsulation process. LLW Repository Limited (LLWR), and Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DSRL) use Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and Pulverised Fuel Ash (PFA) for low level waste encapsulation, supplied to standard specifications. The current Contract expires on 31st July 2022 therefore a tender will be required to replace this contract to ensure continuity of supply. This PIN is seeking expressions of interest from suitable providers. Additional information: Lot 1 Supply of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) to LLWR and DSRL Must conform to BS EN 197-1:2011 and be grade CEM I 42,5N or CEM 1 52.5N. It should be noted that although CEM I 42,5 is the stated standard on current supplies, the material routinely supplied is CEM I 52,5, which is acceptable.
