Notice Description

The objective of this tender process is to establish a Framework Agreement to provide Traffic Management services to Wigan Council. It is intended to appoint a single supplier to this Framework Agreement. The framework agreement will run for a period of 2 years. It is intended that this will commence 1st July 2018, expiring 30th June 2020. In the main the traffic management services requested will be to enable Wigan Council to carry out minor repairs to street lighting, carriageway and drainage repairs, as well as grass cutting, road sweeping and lining. The Framework Agreement will be based on a schedule of rate list for labour, plant and materials within the categories stated in the specification in the Invitation to Tender document. The provision of traffic management services under this Framework Agreement is a critical element of Wigan Council's service provision and therefore the successful provider appointed to the framework must be able to supply and provide services in response to a call-off request at any time during the period of validity of the framework. Interested applicants are directed to the Invitation to Tender document which contains a full specification for this service. The closing date of Friday 11th May 2018 at 17:00 represents the deadline for the submission of final tender applications.
