The UK is required to submit its GHG Inventory on an annual basis to the EU. Previously this process was governed by the Monitoring Mechanism Decision. For the 2015 submission and beyond this has been replaced by the Monitoring Mechanism Regulation. This contract was to fund Ricardo-AEA to make the necessary changes to the Inventory and its reporting, in response to the MMR.
