Notice Description

NHS Medway Clinical Commissioning Group ('the CCG') is transforming the way in which community services are delivered. The CCG is beginning its work to redesign and improve the way in which community services are accessed and provided locally to deliver reductions in health inequalities, improve patient experience and ensure that patients remain well and cared for close to or at home. The CCG's key focus is to create integrated community based care organised around the needs of patients; improving quality and efficiency through designing and delivering clear outcomes measures. The CCG is seeking to engage early with the market to inform this transformation and define their approach to the award of a new contract for community services in Medway. The purpose of the early market engagement event will be to share: * the CCG's vision for community services in Medway * an outline of the proposed approach and timescales for the award of a contract There will also be an opportunity for individual providers to have 121 meetings with commissioners to share your thoughts and ideas for how this new approach to community services can best be delivered to meet the needs of the local population. A key objective for this event is to gain the maximum benefits from competition by stimulating interest from the market that will be used to inform the CCG's approach so interested Providers are encouraged to attend. The details of the event are as follows and all providers are asked to complete the attached registration form to confirm their attendance. Full location details will then be shared directly. Date: Thursday 25 January 2018 Timings: 10am - 11am: Presentation of the vision and proposed timetable 11am - 12pm: Questions 12 - 1pm: bookable 121 slots with commissioners Additional information: Completed registration forms should be sent as soon as possible to alice.donovan-hart@nhs.net and by no later than 12:00pm on Tuesday 23 January 2018.
