Notice Description

North of England Commissioning Support working for, and on behalf of, NHS Newcastle Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside and Sunderland Clinical Commissioning Groups (the CCGs), wish to commission a Patient Transport Booking Service covering the CCGs geographical areas. The provider will book patient transportation to non-urgent, pre-arranged appointments (subject to assessing eligibility criteria,) via the North East Ambulance Service online booking system. The service will operate between 9-5pm Monday-Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). If your organisation would like to submit a bid NECS utilises an electronic tendering tool to manage this procurement. There will be no hard copy documents and communications including submissions, will be via an eTendering portal, PROACTIS at https://www.proactisplaza.com/SupplierPortal/?CID=NECS Bidders should navigate to NECS289 Patient Transport Booking Service; the tender will be available 01 November 2018. The tender submission deadline is 12.00 noon 03 December 2018.
