Notice Title

IT Project Management: Revenues and Benefits System Support 2018

Notice Description

Barrow-in-Furness Borough Council are looking for a specialist consultant to; Specify, Procure and Transition as we look to re-integrate our Revenues and benefits System back in house. The specification phase means the specification of the system and system requirements in order to go to tender for support. This will include liaison with the software provider, the current external contractor and Council officers, to understand the current system details, any changes required and any constraints. The procurement phase will be OJEU compliant and the Council will consider advice in relation to the contract length and any other conditions that may be relevant - these would be in addition to the Council's terms and conditions and contract standing orders. The transition phase needs careful planning as it will inevitably involve more Council officer time with setup and testing to ensure a robust switchover.
