Notice Description

London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham (the "Council") invites Tenders for the provision of Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support Services (SENDIASS) ("the Services"). The Services comprise impartial information, advice and support (IAS) service for children , young people, parents/carers and families with special educational needs and disabilities ("SEND") . The overall aim is for SENDIASS to work in partnership to contribute to better outcomes for children and young people with SEND by: - Providing free, confidential and impartial information, advice and support for children, young people and their parents and be available 52 weeks of the year; providing accurate and accessible information, advice and support; - Ensuring information, advice and support promotes independence and self-advocacy for young people; - Supporting and empowering parents and carers to understand the graduated approach to SEND and to access early intervention and prevention services; and - Working together with young people/youth and parent/carer forums to ensure views and experiences inform and shape local policy and practice.
