Notice Description

Warwickshire County Council (WCC) have commissioned a single provider or consortia to provide Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) and Children's Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ChISVA) service. The ISVAs will deliver all the essential elements of the Independent Sexual Violence Adviser Role as detailed in the 2017 Home Office guidance and the ChISVAs will provide practical and emotional support to children and young people aged 5 to 18 years, who have experienced rape, sexual abuse or sexual exploitation at any time during their life (with flexibility to ensure suitable transitions are made between Services for those that need a continuum to their support). Wider family members, partners and other key people in an individual's life or support network may also access support where they are also affected by the crime or may be best placed to provide long term support to the Servicer User The service forms part of the Local Authorities' response to sexual violence and provides a key link to the Coventry & Warwickshire Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC)(Blue Sky Centre).
