Notice Description

The University of Southampton is in the planning phase of a large-scale, university-wide (or 'comprehensive') fundraising and engagement campaign, with a potential target of raising PS100m, across a period of up to 10 years. The working title is the Campaign for Southampton. The purpose of the Campaign for Southampton is to enable a step-change in support from alumni and supporters - both in terms of philanthropy and engagement (volunteering, connections, staying up to date, and promoting the university and its brand) in order to support the University's strategic 10 Year Plan. The Campaign has support from the highest level of the University and will be led by our own Vice Chancellor. The Campaign for Southampton will enhance research excellence and student experience - supporting a balance of projects across these areas, and ultimately supporting our University mission to 'change the world for the better'. This new landmark campaign is an enormous and exciting task and will be a first for the University of Southampton. The University is looking for a strategic, creative marketing agency to help us with the project selection and proposition development strategy and process, ultimately leading to the creative development for the look and feel of the campaign in the second phase of work - which will run across the Campaign for potentially 10 years. We need an agency that will work in partnership with our team to get under the skin of what makes us unique and produce a stand-out campaign that will resonate both externally and internally - with a wow factor that we can all be proud of. The University community and especially our team are excited about this campaign, and we want an agency to feel that way too - continually inspiring the team and our key campaign stakeholders. This procurement is seeking an agency that has the ability to deliver all of Phases 1 and 2 of the project as outlined in the Specification (Invitation to Tender document set (File 2, Appendix 1)).
