Your Homes Newcastle Limited (YHN) is developing plans for the procurement activities associated with the replacement and integration of existing operational systems for its Newcastle Furniture Service business activity. As part of the development of the procurement strategy for delivery of this project, YHN is undertaking a market engagement exercise, in the form of a supplier engagement event, aimed at assisting YHN to better understand the supplier marketplace, which will ultimately lead to the procurement of an efficient, flexible and fit for purpose solution now and into the future. We propose are to hold a supplier engagement event on 27th January 2017 for suitably experienced and capable organisations. The event will start at 10am sharp and last until 1pm, light lunch will be provided at 1pm. The address of the event is: Your Homes Newcastle Unit 5, Greenfinch Way Gateway West, Newburn Riverside Newcastle upon Tyne NE15 8NX Tel - 0191 2781888 Registration to attend this event should be made by email no later than 12.00 noon 20th January 2017 to Jason Wylie, Head of Business Services at the following email address Jason.Wylie@yhn.org.uk Please note that spaces are limited and if necessary will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and restricted to two attendees per organisation. Further details relating to this event are included in the attachment included with this notice. Additional information: This notice relates to an early engagement process only. It is not part nor does it constitute the commencement of a procurement process. The event is NOT a selection exercise or form part of a selection process that may apply to any future potential procurement. It is intended to act as an awareness and information gathering exercise in order to help YHN with its future commissioning intentions. Any subsequent procurement will be advertised separately via the Contracts Finder website (https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/Search ) and tender documents will only be available through NEPO procurement portal (https://procontract.due-north.com/SupplierPreLoginHome/ )and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertised as and when published. We recommend that you register with both these websites in the meantime. Suppliers are asked to note that information provided by at the Supplier Event, including names of attendees, will be shared with third parties including those suppliers which did not attend, to ensure a level playing field in any subsequent procurement.
