Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Camden - Market Engagement Event
Notice Description
NHS Camden Clinical Commissioning Group is continually reviewing the quality of health services delivered locally. As part of this improvement programme we are developing proposals to improve access to psychological therapies (IAPT) services in Camden. Camden CCG will be hosting a free engagement event, open to all potential IAPT service providers: Camden Improving Access to Psychological Therapies - Market Engagement Event, Friday 13 November 2015 1.30pm - 4pm, Camden Town Hall, Judd Street, WC1H 9JE. The purpose of this event is: * to have an opportunity to meet with potential IAPT providers in an informal and dynamic atmosphere to discuss and explore how improving psychological therapy services could best meet the needs of Camden patients experiencing anxiety and depression; * to understand the provider landscape in terms of the options for IAPT service delivery development and achieving improved outcomes for this cohort of service users. We hope that this event will provide potential providers with an opportunity to understand the service Camden wants to commission and give them an opportunity to bring to the table their ideas, innovation, ask questions and seek clarification where necessary. It is anticipated that the new service will commence on the 1 April 2017. Additional information: You can express an interest in this market testing exercise by sending an e-mail to the Procurement Team at: clinical.procurement@nelcsu.nhs.uk The deadline for submitting a response for this market testing exercise is on the 9 November 2015 at 12:00 noon. If you would like to attend the Market Event, please include the following information in your email to the Procurement Team at clinical.procurement@nelcsu.nhs.uk : * Confirmation of how many people will attend representing your organisation (include name/job title). Numbers of attendees are limited to a maximum of 2 from each organisation. * Your organisation's technical capability and previous experience of delivering an IAPT service. Please note that this is a market testing/engagement exercise to inform the CCGs' decision making process. This does not commit the CCG to a carry out a procurement process. Potential Providers who have expressed an interest in this market testing exercise will have to submit a separate response to the Contract Notice should the CCG decide to procure this service and publish a Contract Notice (advert) for this requirement. Potential providers who do not express an interest at this stage will still be able to apply in the future.
