Notice Description

The purpose of this document is to establish whether there are suitable parties available to support this element of the Launchpad project. To date we have run our own pitch sessions at various stages throughout the incubation year. This has involved organising those Launchpad businesses that take part, review of pitch deck / presentation, invitations and administration for the 'friendly' investor panel and audience, running the session (in person to date, no virtual sessions have been held) and the provision of feedback to each businesses involved. We now wish to test the market to ensure we are providing the best service possible and are seeking to source a suitable delivery partner using a fair, open and transparent method. The information received from this market testing survey will determine our next steps in regards to a procurement strategy. Launchpad is seeking to procure the services of a provider that will be able to provide the following: Delivery of an pitch / demo experience for up to 5 Launchpad start-ups at each of 3 monthly / bi-monthly sessions (trial period) 1. Administration for pitch session: to include identification of which Launchpad teams will participate (up to 5 per session), invitations to teams and to panel of experts / judges and guests a. 3 pitch sessions for a trial period, with potential to extend to more b. Panel of experienced judges willing to contribute feedback on the pitch session (to the teams involved and to the Launchpad Programme via the supplier) 2. Pitch session delivery: virtual whilst Covid-19 situation continues, on site after. To include recording of session for future learning 3. Coaching for identified Launchpad teams in lead up to the pitch session 4. Feedback: for individual teams (personalised) and for Launchpad staff team (to incorporate feedback to individual teams and a review of learning for the next session and for the Launchpad programme 5. To generate further interest in the Launchpad Programme through this activity (either / or - network of partners, potential students for future cohorts, other)
