The overarching objective of the research is to examine the extent to which art and culture within a place influences - through direct and indirect impacts, tangible and intangible - the economy and society of that place. Specifically, the research needs to address whether a place which has a strong art and cultural offer: Attracts more individuals to live. Attracts more individuals to work. Attracts more organisations to do business; both in terms of their location and activity.
