Cumbria County Council is committed to making sure that all members of the public can access our services. This service will provide an interpretation and translation service to all residents in Cumbria, enabling users who require language support access to interpreters and translators. The service will be demand led, and will consist of Council services contacting the Provider to request one or more of the services descripted below. The Service will be available to any department of the Council, though the following Council activities are likely to experience the most demand: * Child protection and safeguarding. * Special Education Needs and Disabilities * Adults with rights under the Care Act (2014). * Coroner.
