Notice Information
Notice Title
The Provision of a Survey to Support Evaluation of HSE's Health and Work Programme
Notice Description
Following internal analysis and external consultation (with academics working in occupational health, occupational health providers, national laboratories, workplace health and safety representatives and young workers), HSE has identified three priority strands for interventions on health (H&W strands): occupational lung disease (OLD); musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and work-related stress (WRS) (see http://www.hse.gov.uk/aboutus/strategiesandplans/health-and-work-strategy/health-and-work-strategy.pdf for further details). HSE would like to hear from tenderers who can readily access large nationally-representative samples of employers and employees. Due to larger sample sizes generally leading to increased precision when estimating unknown parameters, HSE considers that in order to make confident claims about the nature and extent of change in workplaces in different sectors, it would be ideal to have achieved sample sizes of around 2,000 employers and 5,000 employees Due to the specialist nature of the topic area, HSE will lead on the development of the common-approach questions, but will collaborate with chosen contractor in finalising the questions; the finalised question-set will be reviewed by members of HSE's evaluation peer review group, a group of independent experts established by HSE, to provide an additional level of quality assurance. Additional information: In order to gain access to the documentation and to respond to this opportunity you will be required to register, free of charge, on to HSE's e-Procurement portal by accessing the following link: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hse/aspx/Home Opportunities are listed alphabetically by title with the portal and the tender reference for this opportunity is HSE/T3216
