Notice Description

The United Kingdom will host the 2018 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting from 16 - 20 April in London. This will be a high profile event where it is anticipated that up to 54 Heads of State or Government (plus spouses) and up to 54 Foreign Ministers (plus spouses) will attend. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) is seeking an experienced transport ground transport services contractor(s) to facilitate the movement of VIPs, delegates, media and staff during the 2018 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM). The requirement is to ensure that all involved are transported in a safe, secure, convenient and timely manner throughout the five days of CHOGM itself, and the preparation period before hand. The operations will include transport to and from multiple airports. The Contracting Authority intends to use an eTendering system in this procurement exercise and reserves the right to use a reverse auction.
