The proposed work is required to be undertaken urgently to meet the Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch (HSIB) report recommendations for safety of medical gases. The specific aim of this project is to formalise the roles of the Authorising Engineer (AE), Authorising Person (AP) and Credited Person (CP) and provide an accredited qualification framework that satisfies all the current legislative requirements. Interested suppliers should register on the NHS England & Improvement e-procurement system here: https://health-family.force.com/login * Once logged in click 'Find Opportunities' and search for 'Qualification Framework Medical Gases Pipeline System Engineers' * Click 'Register Interest' * Once you have registered your interest you will be able to view the Requirements and submit a response to the questions within the portal. * Any messages about the opportunity should be sent via the e-procurement system.
