Notice Description

The 'Integrated Community Smart Heat and Power Network' at the Creative Energy Houses project focuses on designing, constructing and demonstrating a smart heat network that links homes to form a small scale integrated community heat and power network capable of integrating and managing all forms of sustainable energy sources. Having now completed the main installation of the system infrastructure (this including: the underground piping network, Heat Interface Units [HIUs], and 10m3 storage tank), connections of the building existing systems to the HIUs are required to enable their function using the facilities of the network. This will involve collaboration with the existing University based stakeholders who shall incorporate monitoring devices to record the performance of the systems for research based activities.
