Notice Title

Vision Zero Proof of Concept (POC)

Notice Description

TfL is seeking innovative solutions to support our 'Vision Zero' ambition. TfL is keen to understand more about the conditions that lead to near misses and potential safety concerns on the road network that can help us better understand road safety risk. We are looking to run a Proof of Concept (POC) to identify, capture and bring in additional data from various vehicle types which are involved in more collisions than average. The data will be used exclusively to explore insights on and model near misses on our network. We will be seeking London-wide data that provides a representative view of Londoners. This POC will seek to capture and aggregate data (historical and/or real time) from a wide range of vehicles. This could include, but is not limited to, the following modes: * Powered two wheelers * Cycles (including TfL's cycle hire scheme) * E-scooters * London buses (in partnership with bus operators), TfL fleet vehicles (such as dial-a-ride), freight vehicles (in partnership with freight operators) To take part in the market engagement phase and submit a questionnaire response, please visit the TfL Commercial Innovation website here: https://tfl.gov.uk/info-for/business-and-advertisers/commercial-innovation?intcmp=55927#on-this-page-1 and select the "Vision Zero Proof of Concept (POC)" project questionnaire. RESPONSES WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED IF THEY ARE SUBMITTED VIA THE "VISION ZERO PROOF OF CONCEPT" LINK ON THE WEBSITE LINK PROVIDED.
