HIS Furniture and other household items
Notice Description
Homes in Sedgemoor has a requirement for household furniture and basic electrical items to meet the needs of tenants who are moving in to a new property having been homeless or in financial difficulties. The furniture is required to meet basic needs but must be compliant with any current BS standards for these items. Homes in Sedgemoor expects the provider to be able to meet the following needs: * Without exception be able to deliver to a residential property within Sedgemoor within 48 hours of an order being agreed at no additional charge to the contracting authority or the tenant * To be able to connect all electric cookers and move them into position and all packaging to be removed * Confirmation of order and confirmation of delivery to be sent to HIS via email within 24 hours * Arrangements for delivery will need to be agreed between the tenant and the contractor but must be within 48 hours of order being placed. * Full replacement products for faulty or damaged items within the warranty period to be arranged directly with the tenant without involvement from HIS Additional information: Tender documents can be obtained by registering your interest via www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk
