Stornoway Generator & Ancillary Equipment Replacement - - Clearing of all existing items - generator, exhaust, duct, all fuel pipework in room. - Dispose of in an environmentally friendly manner and in accordance with Regulations - 3 phase 30Kva open frame generator set with generator controller, battery charger, engine heater, electronic governor. - 800L Plastic fuel tank to give over four days run at full load. To replace existing if the contractor recommends. - New Automatic Transfer switch integrated with Bypass switch - it is likely that this would need to be made specifically to replace the existing (possibly bespoke) - New air outlet duct - New cabling from Automatic Transfer Switch to generator - New fuel pipework (flow and return) and pump system to transfer fuel from tank to generator - Fuel polisher to be fitted to the tank or pump system. - Exhaust system to replace existing. - A telemetry box fitted in the building to warn the Operations Room staff of any alarm activations. - All telemetry cables, cable management, tray, glands, etc - Commissioning using resistive load bank upon completion. - Annual load bank tests for following five years.
