Notice Description

Living Well at Home Lancashire County Council is due to embark on a procurement process to establish Pseudo Dynamic Purchasing System (PDPS), "the Living Well at Home PDPS" to enable the purchase of various Services for adults. Interested care and support providers are invited to attend a Tender Briefing, please see details below. Summary of the Living Well at Home PDPS The aim of the Living Well at Home PDPS is to support the delivery of the Authority's vision to enable Individual's to live as independently and healthily as possible. It will provide Individuals and their carers with the right level of care and support with prevention, early intervention, and the promotion of independence. The Living Well at Home PDPS will cover Services which are: Regulated Care Services by the Care Quality Commissioner (CQC) This is care and support delivered to Individuals, in their own accommodation (with their own front door) whose occupation of the property is entirely independent of the care and support arrangements (which remain at all times a visiting arrangement). It is intended to provide the Authority with the ability to commission the following Services from the PDPS across the life of the agreement: * Short Term Care at Home (formerly Reablement and Crisis contracts) * Homecare Services (formerly Homecare Framework)* * Extra Care Services *The following authorities have expressed an interest in purchasing Homecare Services through the PDPS: * NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Non Regulated Support Services This is support delivered to Individuals living in their own homes. This type of support does not include personal care and instead is a support service assisting with identified needs in accordance with the Care Act Eligibility determinations. It is intended to provide the Authority with the ability to commission the following Services from the PDPS across the life of the agreement: * Short Term Help and Support (formerly Hospital Aftercare contracts) ** * Other Non regulated Support Services to be determined. ** The following authorities have expressed an interest in purchasing Short Term Help and Support through the PDPS: * NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care * Blackburn with Darwen Council The intended procurement is expected to begin week commencing 10th April 2023, with award of places on the PDPS estimated to be in July 2023.
