Notice Title

Voice and Data connectivity into sales and development sites for Housing

Notice Description

Background: Orbit new sales and development office locations tend to be green field and therefore have significant issues in getting fixed line telephony and broadband services into the construction / sales office environments where no current infrastructure exists. It can take a number of months to install the required fixed line data infrastructure and even when this has been installed it can still be an issue for our current supplier to provide voice connectivity due to the nature of the infrastructure installed (all new sites tend to be fiber rather than copper which presents issues for providing voice) Requirement: In order to fulfill the requirements of these sites we need to find a company that can provide at minimum, the following services: 1) Installation and configuration of 4G (or better) data connectivity to site locations that have no fixed infrastructure and limited or no "through the air" connectivity within 10 days of placing an order. Ability to support 5 data connections and provide training to onsite staff in how to connect/use the equipment. Proven track record of providing reliable and secure connectivity and ability to support both hard wired and WiFi connections 2) Installation and configuration of voice telephony including ability to provide local or non geographic telephone number, voicemail facility, hunt group, pickup group, call recording, call statistics, call diverts etc for up to 5 members of staff. Provision of training to onsite staff in using equipment 3) Ability to connect and install peripheral equipment (supplied by customer) such as laptops, printers etc to network router and test/prove these are working with onsite staff before leaving site 4) Provision of 24x7x365 technical support to onsite staff via service desk functionality (for data/voice and peripherals) 5) Ability to have a rolling monthly contract or 12/24 month contracts 6) Ability to choose different data allowances, i.e. 10gb, 20gb, 30gb, unlimited etc 7) Ability to setup secure connectivity between all remote sites The above functionality could potentially be needed at up to 15 sites in the Midlands, South and South East at any one time.
