This procurement falls under the health and social work services category and has a planned budget of £20 million. Notice Title

Urgent Care Centre at Central Middlesex Hospital - NHS BRENT CCG

Notice Description

NHS Brent Clinical Commissioning Group ('the CCG'), is seeking information from Providers on the potential interest and capability of the market to deliver an Urgent Care Centre located at Central Middlesex Hospital, Acton Lane, London, NW10 7NS Following a review of Integrated Urgent Care, the CCG is undertaking a process to improve and optimise the Urgent Care Centre that is based at Central Middlesex hospital to best meet patient needs. The Urgent Care Centre will be available to any patients that attend irrespective of the borough the patient resides in; this includes registered, non-registered and overseas patients. A revised draft service specification has been developed that reflects a renewed focus of integrated working, intended to incorporate the integrated urgent care strategies across North West London and the new Commissioning Standards for Integrated Care that took effect from April 2017. The purpose of this engagement with the market is to assess the level of interest from providers to deliver the service. Attached to this advert is a Memorandum of Information (MOI) and draft specification and Providers are invited to express their interest by completing the attached questionnaire. It is intended that there is an engagement event to explain the service model in detail and explore the options for an appropriate payment mechanism for the contract. The CCG considers Provider input to be extremely valuable and all those interested are invited to attend. It is likely that this potential contract opportunity will be subject to a competitive procurement process to enable the CCG to identify the most suitable and qualified provider to deliver the service. Responses to this Request for Information will be used to inform the contract approach and as such, a response is important. A lack of interest being expressed in response to this invitation, may be taken as evidence by the CCG that a competitive process may not be required, so potentially interested providers are advised to respond. The market engagement event is currently planned to take place as follows and all interested providers are invited to attend. Time: 10am - 12pm Date: 12 July 2017 Location: A venue in Harrow (see below) Please RSVP with the names and job titles of those attending the event at your earliest opportunity via email to alice.donovan-hart@nhs.net so details of the venue can be confirmed. NOTE: 1. The engagement event will focus on the service and payment models so please field representatives as appropriate. 1. The deadline for completed RFI submissions is 4pm on Monday 17 July 2017, i.e. after the Engagement Event.
