This procurement process falls under the health and community services industry category. The engagement event is scheduled for delivery in London, with a significant engagement end date set for 6 August 2021. Market Engagement for Residential & Funded Nursing Care Services

Notice Description

Westminster City Council (the "Authority") will be embarking on the recommissioning of a Residential & Funded Nursing Care Service within Beachcroft Care Home. This follows an open tender exercise earlier this year where the Authority did not award a contract. Prior to retendering these services the Authority will host a virtual market engagement event providing an opportunity to discuss and seek feedback from interested service providers on the service model and how these services can be delivered in the future. Westminster City Council (the Authority) requires service providers of residential and dementia care to support vulnerable adults who have been assessed as having eligible need that could be effectively supported in a care home setting and have a legal right to live in a care home of their choice under the Care and Support (Choice of Accommodation) Regulations 2014 No 2670 and any subsequent amendments. The aim of the market engagement event is to: - Share information about demographic activity and care home trends in Westminster - Introduce our flagship purpose-built 84 bed care home - Share the Authority's vision of personalised outcome-based services - Share details of the forthcoming market opportunity - Discuss lessons learnt from the previous market opportunity - Explore market experience and appetite - Allow questions and feedback from the market Following the market engagement event, interested providers will be invited to attend individual virtual Q&A sessions on the morning of either Tuesday 17 August, Wednesday 18 August, or Thursday 19 August 2021.
