Notice Description

The Trust wishes to procure a virtual ward service to provide specialist acute care at home to facilitate earlier discharge from inpatient wards across UCLH The service will also provide the bridging of social care for those patients who are medically fit for discharge, but are awaiting social care packages to start This procurement process is being undertaken in accordance with the Light-Touch Regime (LTR) rules Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015, regulations 74-77). UCLH therefore confirms that the LTR OJEU threshold and timescales apply, as does certain flexibilities with regards to the tender selection and award.
