Notice Description

Highways England is looking to set up a contract for provision of engineering consultancy and technical services needed for the establishment of governance protocols required to deliver the SES's RIS 2 obligations for updating the Manual Contract Highways Works (MCHW) and keeping the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) up to date. A specific objective of this commission is to deliver efficiencies in quality, time, cost and functionality through enhanced governance processes and new and updated functionalities in the Technical Standards Enterprise System (TSES), which ultimately will help deliver safety improvements for the UK road design, construction and asset management. Completion of this work will be observed by ORR.
