Northern Powerhouse Rail - Travel Demand Forecasting for Bradford Station

Notice Description

WYCA would like to commission the development of a credible and robust model which will be used to forecast the likely levels of additional transport demand that a Northern Powerhouse Rail (NPR) station at Bradford would generate and attract. The model will need to differentiate clearly between a NPR city-centre hub and a NPR parkway station option and also consider the effects on Bradford's existing rail network. The outputs alongside a parallel piece of work examining the economic impacts of NPR in relation to Bradford will support Transport for the North's sequence 3 NPR work. Scroll down to the project and click 'View Details' and then 'Express interest'. There will be a tab called 'Invitation to tender' and from here you will be able to download the tender documents. Delivery Notes Tenderers are required to provide a fixed price in relation to the provision of services that fall within the scope of this tender as a result of the initial services all tenderers must provide details as to the hourly rates of staff that may be used on this and other matters broken down by discipline and qualification i.e. senior civil engineer, Junior civil engineer. For the avoidance of doubt should the costs of providing these services start to escalate or are deemed to exceed the OJEU threshold limits, this contract will be terminated and an OJEU compliant tender process will be carried out of future service provision.
