Notice Information
Notice Title
Digital infrastructure development, 'soft market' consultation and invitation for proposals
Notice Description
Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council (TMBC) has digital infrastructure assets, including ducting and fibre, developed for its own use. TMBC wishes to work with public sector partners that have similar assets to create an integrated infrastructure, with potential for wider use, including by private sector service providers. TMBC invites proposals to create a framework enabling the creation of such an integrated infrastructure and administering access to it. Proposals must ensure that public sector objectives are met, while encouraging private sector engagement - including investment and commercialisation - on market economy and non-discriminatory principles.
