NOTE: This notice was updated on 29 January 2018 for the following reason: No tender took place.Telford & Wrekin Council would like to hear from providers who offer overnight stays for children with disabilities. In particular we would like to know how many nights you are currently able to offer and how many nights you would be able to offer from 1 April 2016. Our intention is to roll out personal budgets and we also expect providers to be able to work with parents as buyers of your services. We would like to know about your experiences of this are and any issues you think that you may have in relation to this. We are interested in where you have experience/ideas of offering overnight stays to children away from your premises and again would like your comments on this. Please email your responses by 16 November to the following email address: katrina.mccormick@telford.gov.uk Next steps are that we will be inviting you to an event during December to discuss in more detail. Please confirm by reply to the email address above if you would like to be invited. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
