Notice Description

Further to the previous Contracts Finder notice (ref. no: ECC001-DN703285-91535500) which was published on 15th December 2023 regarding this forthcoming sub-threshold procurement opportunity; Essex County Council ("the Council") would like to invite prospective providers to attend a market engagement event on Tuesday 23rd January 2024. Please note that this event is due to be conducted online via MS Teams between 11:00 and 12:30. During this market engagement event, the Council will present an update on the commissioning intentions in line with the anonymised feedback from the recent soft market test for this project alongside an opportunity to discuss the proposed scope of this service with the Council's representatives. In addition, the Council will provide guidance to support prospective providers to engage with the forthcoming procurement alongside an overview of the Social Value considerations for this service. If your organisation would like to attend this event, please e-mail: rachel.horne@essex.gov.uk; confirming the name(s) of your organisation's representatives and their contact e-mail to facilitate the release of the MS Teams meeting invitation. Please could you ensure that you confirm your attendance by 17:00 on Monday 22nd January 2024. Additional information: For the avoidance of any further doubt, please be advised that the stated closing date within this notice applies to the deadline for providers to confirm their interest in attending the market engagement event and does not relate to the submission deadline for the forthcoming procurement. Likewise, the estimated budget for this service is provided for indicative purposes only due to the requirements of the online form. Please be advised that full details of the associated procurement, including but not limited to, the applicable budget and procurement timetable will be published in a separate notice following the conclusion of the requisite internal governance for this project.
