Notice Title

1195 EME _ Applicant Journey _ CRM - Prior Information Notice PIN

Notice Description

1195 EME _ Applicant Journey _ CRM Published 11th June Closing date 12th July Prior Information Notice PIN Microsoft Dynamics online enquiry, online application and applicant appoint booking solution CURRENT SITUATION Currently, the University's online enquiry, application, and applicant booking processes are fragmented and hampered by the use of disparate and end-of-life systems. This disjointed setup not only leads to a subpar end-user experience but also presents significant challenges in management and efficiency. Users may encounter difficulties navigating through multiple platforms or submitting data multiple times, resulting in frustration and potentially deterring potential applicants. Moreover, administrative staff face inefficiencies in managing and tracking enquiries, applications, and appointments across these disparate systems. With limited integration and outdated technology, maintaining these systems becomes increasingly burdensome and resource-intensive. As a result, there is a pressing need for a comprehensive solution that can unify these processes, streamline operations, and deliver a seamless experience for both users and administrators alike. OUR AIMS - WHAT WE WANT TO ACHIEVE The University of Derby seeks to streamline its operations by consolidating disparate systems and integrating online enquiry, application, and booking functionalities into a unified solution aligned with its Microsoft Dynamics platform. This strategic move aims to enhance efficiency, improve data accuracy, and provide a seamless user experience for applicants, students, and staff alike. By centralising these processes within Microsoft Dynamics, the University anticipates better data visibility, streamlined workflows, and increased productivity, ultimately enabling it to better serve its stakeholders while leveraging the full capabilities of its existing technology infrastructure. Respondents may be invited to open dialogue workshops to discuss and demonstrate their potential solution to the University at a time/date to be advised.
