NOTE: This notice was updated on 25 April 2019 for the following reason: This requirement has been withdrawn to revise the scope, questions and combine two projects in one tender process.The Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 require that arrangements for the effective planning, organization, control, monitoring and review of the fire safety measures are in place and that a risk assessment is carried out. Fire Risk Assessments are required for the following OFD sites: Garelochhead; Loch Striven; Campbeltown and Loch Ewe. The supplier must be on the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) Fire Risk Assessors' or Fire Protection Association (FPA) Fire Risk Assessor Register. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
