The UK's COVID-19 testing capability is enabled by a nationwide logistics and distribution solution. The overall solution covers the delivery of pre-test kits to various test locations, where test samples are completed and collected, and returned to a network of laboratories for each test to be processed and a test result then issued to the test subject. This contract, awarded by the Department of Health & Social Care, is for one element of this system: the collection of test samples and supporting materials and their transportation to Delivery Points within the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland).
