DUD-H627/8/9 Tenders for the service delivery of domestic lift Installations and their maintenance
Notice Description
Dudley MBC has approved the delivery of a service to provide the design, installation, removal and recycling,together with the maintenance, servicing and repairs of domestic lifts and associated builders work withincouncil owned, privately owned, privately rented and housing association owned properties located throughout the Borough. Domestic lifts are defined as being those that are installed within a domestic residence and shall include, but not limited to straight track stair lifts, curved track stair lifts, seated vertical through floors lifts, wheelchair vertical through floor lifts, external step lifts and external platform lifts. Additional information: This exercise is being conducted in electronic format (e-tender). If you wish to take part please register withDudley MBC e-tendering website www.blackcountrybusiness.co.uk and use the Register / Sign In button whichis located on the left hand side of the page and complete the registration forms. Following registration, an e-mailwill be sent to you advising of your user ID along with a reminder of your e-mail address and password. Detailsof the project are located under the All Opportunities link which is also where you can express an interest andreceive the documentation. Once you have done this you must log back into the website using the detailsprovided following registration and locate the contract document under Tenders, My Tenders on the menu. TheTender should be received no later than Friday 14.12.2018 at (noon) 12:00 and will be available for downloaduntil 23:59 hours on Thursday 13.12.2018. URL: www.blackcountrybusiness.co.uk To access documents bidders are required to register with the website. This may be done in 2 ways; 1) use the Register/Sign In button located on the Home screen or 2) find the project under the All Opportunities link and use the Express Interest button. Companies who havepreviously registered with the website will be invited to input their login detail. Once an expression of interest has been accepted by the system, Users MUST log back into the system toaccess documents. Now they will appear under the My Tenders tab. Further assistance with the system may beobtained by contacting the System Administrator on 01384 814862 or contracts@dudley.gov.uk Guidance documents are also published under the Help screen which can be found on the home screen atwww.blackcountrybusiness.co.uk The Council expressly reserves the right: i) Not to award any contract as a result of the procurement process commenced by publication of this notice; ii) To make whatever changes it sees fit to the content and structure of the tendering competition; iii) To award contract(s) in respect of any part(s) of the requirement covered by this notice; and iv) To award contract(s) in stages and in no circumstances will the Council be liable for any costs incurred bycandidates. Tenderers must note that total potential estimated value of the contract is up to PS7.5M over 60 months,The current approved budgets for this contract indicates current annual requirements of around PS1M perannum, however the contract is divided into Lots, but the value of each Lot is dependent upon specific userrequirements and is therefore only indicative. The service is also subject to public sector budget allocations and Local and central government policy.Therefore, the Lot Total contract Values have been set at a total level above current service requirements to thatso far as reasonable and practical that the contract must meet any future potential demand. Due to contractorcapacity and or inability to deliver, the authority reserve the right to use any other Lots to deliver other contractor Lot requirements. Is a Recurrent Procurement Type? : Yes
