Summary of the contracting process

Cumbria County Council is currently engaged in the Professional Services Framework 3 (PSF3) procurement process, focusing on architectural, construction, engineering, and inspection services. This tender is part of a selective procurement method with a contract value of £12 million. The contract period for awarded services spans from 1st April 2018 to 31st March 2022, with the tender period having ended on 8th January 2018. Interested parties can bid for multiple lots, each divided into subcategories based on the value of the services required, with the opportunity based in the North West region of the United Kingdom.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses within the construction and engineering sectors, particularly those specialising in architecture and civil services. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are particularly encouraged to participate, as the framework allows bids for both high and low-value lots. The diverse nature of the lots available means there is potential for a wide range of consultants and contractors to engage with this procurement, fostering new partnerships and project opportunities in the public sector.
