Community Gynaecology Services
Notice Description
This is not a call for Competition. This is an Advert for Soft Market Testing to gauge market interest which will influence future Commissioning and Procurement Direction. NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of Telford and Wrekin CCG are seeking to engage with potential Providers for the provision of Community Gynaecology Services. The Gynaecology Services shall be for the provision of a consultant led, high quality, dedicated and professional gynaecology services, centred on clinical assessment and treatment of common women's health conditions, including but not limited too: Telford and Wrekin CCG currently has a Community Gynaecology Service and this contract is due to expire on the 31st October 2019. The service Provider(s) will be required to work collaboratively with existing providers as part of an integrated,evidence based approach to patient care. The CCG anticipate that this future procurement will be awarded to one service provider or a lead provider on behalf of a consortium. The aim of the event will be to engage with potential Providers for these services in order to share the commissioning intentions of the CCG, and to seek the input from Providers on a number important aspects relating to the services, including the service specification. At the event there will be an opportunity for Providers to network with other Providers and Commissioners. The CCG would like to assess the current market appetite to provide this service and identify any barriers to successful implementation. The outcomes of the event will then determine next steps. The event will be held on: Monday 26th November 2018 At: 13:30 to 15:50 (Registration 13:15) Location: NHS Telford and Wrekin CCG, Halesfield 6, Halesfield, Telford, TF7 4BF Please note no more than 3 attendees per organisation should attend. It should be noted that this is not a procurement exercise and participating organisations are responsible for their own costs. The services to which this notice relates fall below the Light Touch Regime threshold set by Public Contracts Regulation 2016. Neither the publication of this notice nor the employment of any particular terminology nor any other indication shall be taken to mean that the contracting authorities intend to hold themselves bound by any of the Regulations save those applicable to the procurement of these services.
